I elected not to run last night since I took the dogs and baby on a long hike earlier in the day. I figure that carrying 30 pounds on your back in 85 degree 80% humidity counts for a workout. My wife tired of my complaining that I did not feel great and requests to slow down a bit (Hey, I skipped breakfast). She finally said "How can you run a 10k with no problem and think it's tough on a hike?". Honestly, running 6 miles is easier than hiking for an hour with the girl on your back in the heat. Spending time in the woods really made me miss my mountain biking. I'm thinking that a Lexington based assault on Harbison will be order in the next month after things cool down. Anyone want to make it a group attack?
As for the totals, I ran 50 miles in August. I have run 57 miles since 'seriously' starting to run a little over a month ago. I have 85 miles in my current shoes :)

Group Attack sounds good, Ive been looking for an exuse to try something like that.
Sounds good. I'm thinking Lexington Lowes > Harbison outer loop > Lexington Lowes :)
