Long run on 5k course

Ran around 5.5 miles on the Kiwanis course for my third instalment of a weekly long run. My assessment is that it's going to be a tough race. I held a 10:37 min/mile pace at 170 beats per minute. I'm thinking that beating 24:30 should be my goal at this race and that I'll have to push myself to make that time. The hill right before mile 2 will put me at 98% heart rate with no problem. Things flatten out relatively speaking on the last 3rd of the race. It was hard to run at 80% on some of the hills. I felt fine, but had to check the monitor to make sure I was on training pace very frequently. Again... longest run ever... yadda yadda...
