I had the day off, so I went for a long endurance ride to Harbison. I found some more paths that kept the actual time not on a bike lane, on a trail, or on a path to about 1.25 miles. Not too shabby. It was a little warmer than last time I rode the Cake over and I felt it. Once I got to Harbison, I road Lost Creek to the big loop with Spider Woman and then hit the Midlands climb. I did not go too hard knowing the rest of the day would be spent power washing the decks to prepare for staining them. Happy Cinco De Mayo right ;) I'll be sure to make a margarita for the holiday. Also, the new Cane Creek S-8 headset rocks and the new cables rock as well. It actually took me a while to relearn how to shift a bike that went into gear instantly. I only wish Dan had lubricated the chain, she squeaked the last 15 miles. I forgot to even check before setting out. Other than that, the Cake is riding like new.

We need to plan vacation days that coincide. It sucks sitting here reading this with it nice outside.
It was a good ride man, would have been better with company though. Consider having to read about it on a nice day stuck at work payback for FATS ;)
They blocked Blogspot on my network at school today, so luckily I did not have to read this until I got home. Enjoy your time off!
Why did Tim delete his blog?
