Hand Signals

My commute to work was almost ended in an abrupt and violent way this morning only a few yards from my office. I was in the middle of the lane with my arm fully extended pointing to the left. I was doing around 23 mph. My hand had been out for a good 8 seconds when I peeked over my shoulder for one last look before my turn. Much to my surprise I simultaneously heard massive amounts of full dump into an engine and saw some older guy in a pickup passing me with his tachometer buried! I quickly switched from the international left hand turn signal to the international "I dislike your driving" signal.

The driver never even looked in his rear view mirror to see if I was OK. If I had not been paying attention, I'd be dead and he'd be in jail. My apologies to the traffic around that saw me make a rude gesture. I'm still working on containing my emotion when someone nearly kills me when I'm following all the rules. I guess that's something to work on. At any rate, I'm thankful to the good Lord I did not end up a grill accessory on a late model burgundy pickup.

UPDATE:

Looking into new aerobar upgrade options per Toby's suggestion. Duel M2 Browning option with carbon fiber mount :) Ye 'ol Supercourse will look great with the option.

Pick Up Truck.

He probably believes you signaled that he's the number one driver in your opinion

That turn signal was the go ahead pass on the left a**hole. Go ahead mount that RPG on the handlebar, it will come in handy. Be safe out there.
