Spent the AM of the last day on 2008 at Lynch's Woods. It was a nice change of pace. We only rode 7 miles and took our time doing so. There are still many trees down and hike a bike was common. There are so many leaves down that loosing the trail was also common even when the average speed was 7 mph. Tim and I got a nice winter ride though. My quads are still burning from several climbs that were in the wrong gear while thinking the whole time that this was a "small hill". I used granny gears I'd never used before today, stopping to cross down trees and starting with no mo is good for that too.
This has been a lazy month, but an active year. Several 5k races, a few mountain bike races, lots of hiking and a good many running miles. I'm looking forward to 2009!
