New Addition

My wife and I welcomed our second daughter into our lives last week. Mom and baby are doing fine. Big sister is doing fairly well with the entire ordeal. Poor Chief dog has been the biggest casualty, more specifically his appetite. He's having trouble adjusting to life with a toddler and a newborn. Zac, our other border collie, could care less. He's just happy to be back home from the kennel and taking regular walks again. My older little girl and Chief hiked Harbison a few times in the last week or so and the dogs have been walked every day, but no running. I hope to start back next week.

Our first daughter was a preemie. This baby seems like cake compared to that experience. I might even make it out on my bike in another week or two if things keep going as well as they are now. I need to tackle lots of projects around the house to get it ready to sell in the next year, so it should be a busy summer. My short term goal is to make the next post about either biking or running.

Congrats to you and the family on the new crumb snatcher. Good Luck with the house sell. We are doing the same thing.

Thanks!

We did the Columbia home shopping thing two years ago. We must have looked through twenty houses. That was back when people were smoking crack about how much an old house was worth. We decided to stay in Lexigton for a bit longer and I'm glad we did now. It would really suck waking up every day knowing that your 200k mortage was for a 140k house. Hope you guys find something, it's a buyers market.
